ConZentrate aids in enhancing mental focus during meditation sessions by encouraging deeper concentration. The application transforms this practice into an engaging experience by setting attainable goals that enable users to enhance their ability to concentrate. Each goal accomplished results in the unlocking of various backgrounds, balls, or background music.
The original technique, known as Trataka in Sanskrit, is detailed in Patanjali's Yoga Sutras as "Ekatattva Abhayasa" or the practice of One reality. Trataka involves fixing one's gaze on a focal point either externally or internally, complemented by breathing exercises to pacify mental disturbances.
The benefits of Trataka or ConZentrate include:

<li>In some instances, reported spiritual empowerment</li>
<li>Reduced stress and tension levels</li>

An optimal method of utilizing the application involves focusing on the moving ball or the background sound of Om initially. Subsequently, maintaining a relaxed breathing pattern while doing so. As the mind becomes calmer, one can progress to focusing on the central Om symbol or dot.

<li>A home screen offering a selection between ConZentration and Settings</li>
<li>The option to post progress on Facebook to share with friends and unlock audio files</li>
<li>A settings panel enabling users to customize meditation durations from 1 minute to "Forever," and choose backgrounds suiting their mood</li>
<li>Unlocking new background visuals, balls, or music based on meditation session durations</li>
<li>The ability to remove the bouncing ball from the screen at any point by touching it</li>
<li>An option to restart concentration sessions after the set time limit ends unless "Forever!!!" is selected in the settings slider</li>
<li>Listening to personal music while using the ConZentrate app for meditation purposes</li>
<li>Sharing meditation duration on Game Center and earning achievements as milestones are reached</li>
<li>Diverse meditation music choices including Om chants, Om Namo Narayana, Om Namah Shivaya, ocean waves, Tibetan bells, Tanpura (a stringed instrument), and jungle/forest sounds.</li>
</ul>
